Welcome to the New KIDS UGANDA iCAN Chapter

Updated: Jan 20, 2020

Katwadde Village, UGANDA- The International Childrens Advisory Network (iCAN) proudly announces the launch of the newest Kids Impacting Disease Through Science (KIDS) chapter in Uganda. KIDS Uganda is the latest (and second) chapter to join iCAN in Africa. Led by Sylvia Nakirangwa, the chapter will focus on infusing the young person's voice to help improve pediatric healthcare.

From KIDS Uganda and Chapter Leader, Sylvia Nakirangwa . "We do believe that engaging children in health awareness programs can hugely help to reduce the silence attached to some healthy matters. This is my perfect gift at the end of the year. It is a gift to Ugandan children in rural setting whose health has a lot of challenges."

Chapter leader, Sylvia Nakirangwa, is an enrolled nurse working with SWEDEN UGANDA AID (SWEDUGA) HEALTH CENTRE based in Katwadde Village  and Chairperson of For Healthy Sisters (FHS) in Kaziru Village in Masaka District of Uganda.
