ATLANTA, GA - As community and industry leaders within pediatric medicine, research, and healthcare to the International Children's Advisory Network (iCAN), we would like to wish you a sincere thank you for your kindness in supporting our youth members around the world as they share their expertise in living with chronic, rare, and complicated disease.
As a special thank you, we invited our youth members to creatively share what that thank you should like and from KIDS Bari, 17-year old Emanuela shared her original work entitled, "Different but Same". As Emanuela explained, "Well, I thought that it could be nice to recollect all the iCAN members in a singular one, portrayed with a selection of our different characteristics." Through her art, Emanuela captured the essence of iCAN which is provide every child with the opportunity to use their own ideas to help support pediatric healthcare improvements. Thank you to all of our collaborators. As we begin 2020, we are excited to continue our work in helping youth around the world. We invite you to join us at the 6th Annual iCAN Research & Advocacy Summit to be held in Lyon, France from July 14th - July 20th, 2019.
