KIDS Uganda - An Inspired Vision

Uganda, AFRICA - Article written and submitted by Vicky Edith Nabbanja, iCAN KIDS Uganda Chapter Co-Leader. To learn more about this unique and dedicated chapter, please check out their page here.

For children, healthy answers are not always easy to find by ourselves unless we have people like members of iCAN and KIDS Chapters around the world. Appropriate children's healthy facilities are not always immediately accessible. This is because children can't go deeper alone. Therefore, with iCAN and KIDS Chapters, children must be helped to research, innovate so as to penetrate sources that are really at the heart of children's life and what accounts for the mystery of children's life, in the way of health knowledge. There is need to encourage health experts to take children through many stages of research and innovation. Having access to such training will surely equip children as young researchers and innovators of this generation and beyound, hence becoming a solution to our fellow children.

If you are interested in working with KIDS Uganda or would like to share resources to help support their 2020-2021 project of creating a health literacy program for youth, please contact iCAN at info@iCANResearch.org.
