KANSAS CITY, Missouri- At the 2019 iCAN Summit, Jumo Health partnered with PRA Health Sciences to co-lead a workshop about pediatric education in clinical trials, focusing on how to tailor educational materials for each study. The interactive session included an exercise where iCAN youth advisors learned how clinical study materials are developed. Through this exercise, iCAN youth advisors saw the unique way Jumo Health’s resources depict real patient stories and marry visual and verbal information to help study participants understand and act upon their physician’s instructions. The workshop concluded with iCAN youth advisors participating in a contest to create a comic book character based on their likeness. The top 3 entrants won a custom poster, created by Jumo Health, of their comic book characters.
