ORANGE COUNTY, California - Co-Chair of the the International Children's Advisory Network, Inc. (iCAN), Nadia Ansari, 17 years old from KIDS CHOC-Rady recently completed four additional videos spotlighting the expertise of young people living with invisible conditions, a term used for conditions that do not exhibit externally visible symptoms. Those diagnosed with invisible illnesses and disabilities may have symptoms such as pain, fatigue, dizziness, weakness, or mental health disorders.
Having been diagnosed with an invisible condition herself, Nadia wanted to share the voice of others, in hopes of ensuring that no young person felt alone during their own medical journey.
