The National Capital Consortium for Pediatric Device Innovation (NCC-PDI) serves as a critical device development resource by providing expert advice, support services, and fund management of pediatric device innovation. We bring together individuals and institutions that can support pediatric medical device progression through all stages of development – ideation, concept formation, prototyping, preclinical, clinical, manufacturing, marketing, and commercialization.
NCC-PDI long-term objective is to improve pediatric health care by increasing the number of effective pediatric medical devices and contribute to the national effort to address the unmet need for pediatric medical devices.
West, a leader in Pediatric Device technology through her work at Georgia Tech, is a long-standing believer in providing children with the best technology. Through her efforts within the International Children's Advisory Network (iCAN), West has begun the work of involving children to help innovate their own new devices and products.
