WASHINGTON, D.C. - EveryLife is happy to announce the launch of the 11th year of the Rare Artist Contest and would like to inform the International Children's Advisory Network, Inc., (iCAN) community of some exciting updates. EveryLife's mission of empowering the rare disease community to advocate for impactful, science driven legislation and policy that advances the equitable development of and access to lifesaving diagnoses, treatments and cures. What better way to make your voices heard, if not through art.
New Contest Platform!
It’s a new era for Rare Artist and we are pleased to showcase our new contest platform. We are no longer accepting contest submissions through Facebook or email. We have streamlined the process and acquired a company called Awards Force to manage all contest entries. With the new contest platform, you will be able to create your own account and edit your entries up until the deadline on July 16th, 2021.

New Categories, Prizes and Contest Structure! We have added a young adult age category, making a total of four age groups for each Rare Artist Contest. All awardees will receive the same cash prize of $500. With the new contest platform, voting for your favorite Rare Artist will be easier than ever before. After the judges narrow contest participants down to 20 finalists, we’re asking the community to make the final decision on who are the top 10 Rare Artists for 2021.
20 Finalists
Finalists will be hand-picked by The Rare Artist judges and notified by August 18th, 2021. Finalists' artwork and artist profile will be announced publicly and able to vote on October 1st. The public will have until October 29th to decide on the top 10 artists.
