February 26, 2019 - Dr. Charlie Thompson, iCAN Founder and Chair of the Executive Steering Committee, joined students at the Florida State University College of Medicine through their unique program @SSTRIDECollier to share further learning and understanding about the important work that the International Children's Advisory Network has been championing. In alignment with the core values and mission of iCAN, SSTRIDE is also an outreach effort, standing for "Science Students Together Reaching Instructional Diversity and Excellence". Dr. Thompson's efforts sparked an increase motivation to our upcoming pool of medical doctors to continue patient-centered care through all parts of healthcare, science, research, innovation and advocacy.
