ATLANTA, Georgia - As an ongoing effort to support innovation, science, medicine, and pediatric clinical research around the world, the International Children's Advisory Network, Inc. (iCAN) has supported global efforts to improve pediatric patient care to better improve outcomes around the world.
This month, in partnership with Eli Lilly, iCAN is proud to announce the release of a uniquely innovative video designed by kids for kids to share their experiences within healthcare through their own eyes. The video comprises a collection of original music, pottery, artistic renderings, and digital creations designed by youth members from around the world. In addition, iCAN continues to partner with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to support patient voice within pediatric clinical research by sharing personal experiences with medical device. On November 17th, iCAN parent Scherika Perry will be part of a patient panel through the Centers for Devices and Radiological Health (CDRH) to further support improvements to patient care. Through this effort, iCAN has not only continually participated in creating and developing our own informative videos and educational curriculum but has created impactful collaborations with like-minded family and community stakeholders such as patients, parents, researchers, and clinicians.
